Societies, Clubs, etc.

WGPS is affiliated to The Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU), which is one of the photographic unions in the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). The L&CPU site is updated each week, usually on Sunday, so it's often worth a peek to banish Monday morning blues. The site includes a full list of affiliated clubs, giving their meeting times and venues. Many club entries have links to that club's web page. Some of these are worth a look, if only to see how the rest of the club world operates. (MBW 6/11/08)

The PAGB site is a bit sparse, with only high level information.

The PAGB now publishes a monthly one-page e-mail newsletter, with useful snippets. Anyone who would like to receive it may register by e-mail to ku.oc.aremac-evitaerc|dor#ku.oc.aremac-evitaerc|dor

Canon Japan's EOS Digital site - in English - has tons of useful stuff for Canon EOS enthusiasts. The latest EOS firmware updates are detailed. There are links to useful stuff both for beginners and advanced digital workers. Picture Styles explains the features of the various in-built styles and how to adapt them.
